About us

Jessica Blenda, the founder and owner of Casinha Daycare & Preschool, is a warm-hearted and creative soul from Brazil, deeply passionate about early childhood development and nurturing the growth of young children. As an architect and urban planner, Jessica designs inspiring environments that encourage curiosity, exploration, and hands-on learning.

With over 3 years of teaching experience, along with more than 2 years as a volleyball coach and over 10 years of playing the sport, Jessica brings the values of teamwork, resilience, and dedication to her work with children. Since moving to the United States in 2018, her journey in childcare has flourished—starting as a nanny, and now as a loving mom herself. Through her own parenting experience, she understands the importance of creating a safe, joyful, and stimulating space for children to grow and thrive.

Jessica is wholeheartedly committed to helping every child feel valued, loved, and inspired to reach their full potential. At Casinha Preschool, she creates an environment where children can develop emotionally, socially, and intellectually, with the support and encouragement they need to flourish.

Meet my wonderful husband, Johann Sebastian, a loving dad with a deep passion for children. Johann is a former teacher, specializing in working with kids with special needs in a learning center, and although he's not directly involved in the daycare, his caring nature and experience shine through in everything we do. As a family, we are committed to creating a warm, welcoming space, and Johann’s presence around our home adds an extra layer of support and kindness to our environment.

We’re also blessed to have our 18-month-old son, Hunter, who is full of love and energy. Hunter enjoys making friends, is quite athletic, and never misses an opportunity to share the best hugs. His playful spirit is sure to bring smiles to everyone he meets!
